33 Mine Workers Found Alive

Rescue crews in Chile had a moment of sheer bliss Sunday.

They had been working to free 33 people that have been trapped in a mine for 18 days now.

Crews found a hand written note that was attached to the rescue drill that said all 33 people are alive.

Work continues to free the miners. Chile has asked for international help in getting them out.

So far the U.S. and Australia have send assets. Crews said it could take four months to get them out.

The 33 miners managed to survive by reaching an emergency shelter and drinking underground water.
