Crime Stoppers Raffle At Hotter N' Hell Hundred 2010

Posted: Updated:

The Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers program will debut a new fundraiser at this year's Hotter N' Hell 100. The crime fighting organization will sell raffle tickets for an all paid HHH package for the 2011 race. Officials said a $5 ticket will get you five chances to win a 2 night stay accommodation, paid entry fee and restaurant coupons. Crime Stoppers members will be selling the tickets at the MPEC on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and then again on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. You can also buy tickets in advance by calling 761-7777. Winners will be notified immediately following the race on Saturday. All money raised will help pay Crime Stoppers rewards. The Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers program has been operating for nearly 30 years. Officials say during that time tips have led to more than 5,000 arrests, and over 7,500 cases cleared. Tips have also led to the recovering and seizure of nearly $30 million in stolen property and narcotics.
