Pro Wrestling Manager Laid To Rest In Wichita Falls

A legendary pro wrestling manager was laid to rest Tuesday.

Jim Wehba, 75, also known as Skandor Akbar, died August 19th in Dallas.

Wehba was born in Wichita Falls and graduated from Vernon High School.

He also served two years in the army, mostly overseas in Germany.

In 1963, he became a professional wrestler.

He wrestled in venues across the United States.

He retired in 1977, becoming a manager known as "The General."
