Blood Alcohol Content For Driver in Deadly Wilson Overpass Crash

Newschannel 6 has learned the blood alcohol content for a man accused of killing a Texoma woman. Trooper Tony Fulton with the Department of Public Safety said 43-year-old George Powers's blood alcohol level was .24. That's three times the legal limit in Texas.

Officials said on July 17th, Powers was driving the wrong way on U.S. 287 on the Wilson Overpass. They said his truck slammed into an SUV. Diann Nicole Siple was killed, and her husband, Joshua Siple, was critically injured. A family friend was also injured in the accident but later released from the hospital.We have a call into United Regional Hospital to find out Joshua's current condition.
