Cigarette Sparks Fire in Wichita Falls

All occupants of a house that caught fire in Wichita Falls are safe. Wichita falls firefighters responded to the blaze, that sparked at 3512 Garfield, around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Residents of the home said a cigarette that wasn't fully extinguished caught a plastic container on fire. That in turn burned a wooden table that sparked a fire in the back yard.

Damage to the house was limited to the attic. No injuries were reported.
