Rain Makes It Difficult Putting Out Electra House Fire

The wind and rain made it difficult for fire officials to put out an early morning house fire in Electra Wednesday.

The house fire was in the 100 block of Washington.

Calls started coming in about the blaze a little before 4 a.m.

The house was fully engulfed and is a total loss.  Firefighters say no one was inside or injured in the fire.

They had to collapse a portion of the building with a bull dozer because of structural issues with the roof.

No word yet on what caused the fire, we'll bring you more information when it becomes available.
