Man Facing Indictment On Intoxication Manslaughter Charges

The man accused of killing a Texoma woman in a drunk driving accident could be in court tomorrow.

District Attorney Jack McGaughey said his office will present the case tomorrow for indictment of George Powers.

This comes nearly three weeks after a toxicology report showed Powers' blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.

The accident happened July 17th on U.S. 287 at the Wilson Overpass.

Troopers said Powers' truck slammed into an SUV, killing Diann Nicole Siple. Her husband was critically injured and a family friend was also hurt.

Power's was charged in July with intoxication manslaughter.
