Archer City Beats Henrietta in Game of the Week - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Archer City Beats Henrietta in Game of the Week

The Archer City Wildcats came into Week 3 undefeated, and sniffing the State Top 10.

The Henrietta Bearcats came in reeling, hurting, and in desperate need of a win.

The two teams leave the Doctor Pepper Game of the Week in exactly the same state.

Archer City used a punishing and balanced attack to push the Bearcats all around their own field, and Henrietta shot itself in the foot every time it seemed to have a scoring opportunity, leading to a 35-0 Wildcats win that may make them the first Texoma team in the Texas AP Top 10 this season.

Archer City knew going in that Henrietta was the bigger team, but that the Wildcats were the faster team, and they showed it.

Next week's Dr Pepper Game of the Week features the Wichita Falls High School Coyotes opening up District 4-4A action against The Colony Cougars.
