Fate Of An Altus Inmate Work Center Being Determined Tonight

The fate of an inmate work center will be determined by the Altus Council tonight.

The council will vote on its contract with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections concerning the housing of male inmates at the city's community work center.
Councilor Don Johnson says if the male inmates aren't brought to Altus, the city will have to hire 35 to 50 new employees.
