President Speaks At United Nations

The President is stepping out onto the world stage this morning to deliver his second address to the United Nations General Assembly.

President Barack Obama's speech is expected to remind the world how far his administration has come.

Nearly 200 global leaders will be there as he highlights America's progress in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In Wednesday's Anti-Poverty Summit, the President unveiled new rules for foreign aid and vowed to help poorer nations help themselves.

"Let me be clear, the United States of America has been, and will remain, the global leader in providing assistance. We will not abandon those who depend on us for life-saving help."
