Olney Man Facing Attempted Murder Charges

More information is coming to light on the Olney man facing attempted murder charges.

Young and Archer County investigators are continuing to follow leads involving older cases uncovered during a recent search on the man's ranch.

Thirty-nine year old Stephen Riley is accused of attempting to kill two crop duster pilots in 2007 and 2008.

Riley allegedly fired 23 bullets at a pilot who flew over his land in 2007.

He also is accused of striking another crop duster with bullets in 2008.

Officials say that incident might have caused a crash.

Riley reportedly admitted to threatening and firing the gun, but he said it was intended to scare the pilot and crop duster.

We first told you about Riley three weeks ago when he was arrested for theft of exotic livestock.
