MSU Volleyball Beats Incarnate Word

MSU Volleyball entered Tuesday night on a two-match losing skid. They were looking to turn it around against Incarnate Word.

They started it out with a comfortable first-set win, 25-14, before dropping a close second set 23-25.

But they rallied to take the 3rd set 25-20 and a tight 4th by a score of 26-24.

Freshman Caitlin Wallace closed out the final set with the final 4 kills for the Mustangs, following up her break-out performance in Tuesday's loss to Dallas Baptist.

Wallace had a team-high 14 kills, with only 1 error for an outstanding .500 hitting percentage (kills-errors/attempts).

The Mustangs are back in action Saturday night against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
