Wichita County Commissioners will meet Monday morning for a special session.
In it, they are expected to approve some new equipment for the Wichita County Sheriff's Office.
In all, Commissioners are expected to approve just over $11,300.
Part of that money will be used to purchase a device called a Bloodhound. It hunts out cell phone signals, and will be used in the Wichita County Jail and Jail Annex.
Also, a new rescue phone will be purchased. The phone will take up more than half of the total amount.
That phone is what the SWAT team uses in hostage situations to communicate with suspects.
Commissioners meet Monday morning at 10a.m. at the Wichita County Courthouse.
