IRS to Stop Mailing Tax Forms

The IRS is looking to save $10 million this coming year.

The Washington Post reports the IRS has decided to stop mailing tax forms and instructions through snail mail, since most people now file electronically.

Last year more than 96 million people filed through electronic services compared to the 20 million who filed paper returns through accountants.

The agency says anyone who wants to file paper returns will be able to obtain forms from their Website or its offices.
