Greatest Generation Honors WWII Pilot

A World War II pilot was honored with the Greatest Generation Tribute.

Robert Curtis completed basic training at Sheppard Air Force Base.

He underwent extensive air training in Bakersfield, CA.

During live training, he flew over the North Sea for 18 months. He finished 29 missions before he got another new plane, with which he flew 11 more missions.

Curtis was honored for piloting in the D-day invasion.
