Meals On Wheels Program Director Honored

Senior Citizens Services of North Texas honored Meals on Wheels Program Director Shirley Bradberry.

Bradberry was honored for 25 years of dedicated service.

She began her tenure in 1985 as an Administrative Assistant.

She went on to handle a special emergency response unit program, coordinate and transport seniors to a foster grandparents program with the childcare center of Sheppard Air Force Base.

She also handled transportation for special outings of seniors from the Red Door, and numerous other tasks.

    On Wednesday, Marko, a 7-year-old German Shepard, and K9 Officer died following complications from medical conditions affecting his spleen.
