#10 MSU Preparing for Incarnate Word

The #10 Midwestern State Mustangs survived Edmond with a road win over Central Oklahoma, now they prepare for the team that beat the Bronchos just the week before.

The Incarnate Word Cardinals are 1-3 in their first year in the Lone Star Conference, but they knocked off UCO by 1 point, in overtime, two weeks ago.

MSU Head Coach Bill Maskill says the Cardinals have a dangerous running attack, and a tough defense that won't give you anything easily.

MSU hosts Incarnate Word for Family Night, Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Kick-off is set for 7:30 PM, and weather at kick-off is expected to be cool (mid-50s) and clear.

Critics say the NFL's decision to force players to stand during the national anthem if on the field say the policy prioritizes the league's mainstream appeal over athletes.
