HS Football Polls & Standings After Week 5

Archer City dropped out of the AP State Poll after a double-OT loss to #9 Stamford Archer City dropped out of the AP State Poll after a double-OT loss to #9 Stamford

After a tough double-overtime road loss at Stamford, Archer City fell out of the Texas AP State Top Ten.
 
But the Wildcats still lead a group of three teams from the same district all receiving votes this week.

Archer City fell from 61 votes to 6, even though they lost in double OT to a team that is now ranked ninth.

Meanwhile the Windthorst Trojans picked up a few extra votes, for a total of three, with a convincing win over Henrietta, and Munday has two votes after beating Quanah on Friday.
