Man Sentenced for DWI with 5-Year-Old in the Car

Timothy Duane Dozier has been sentenced to 2 years probation, a $514 fine and a $750 fine, according to court documents.

On September 17th, officers went to a possible hit and run incident in the 700 block of Van Buren.

When officers arrived they say they saw 45-year-old Timothy Duane Dozier's vehicle parked along the curb.

Witnesses say Dozier hit a telephone pole.

While officers investigated, they noticed he seemed under the influence.

Dozier admitted to officers he was on Xanax, Hydrocodone and Oxycontin. Dozier's five-year-old stepdaughter was in the car with him.

A Wichita County Grand Jury indicted him on one count of driving while intoxicated with child.
