Festival Raises Money for Grandfield Community

Folks in Grandfield and surrounding communities came together Saturday to help restore some critical services. The Big Pasture Music Festival and Chili Cook Off paired great food and music with a worthy cause.

The event raised money to help reopen the Grandfield Medical Clinic and buy much-needed radio equipment for emergency first responders.

Bands on the bill included Crosswind, 3 Mile Curve and the Bobby Dale Band. And, of course, there was plenty for chili lovers to savor.

Organizers hope to raise $20,000 to reopen the clinic and nearly $11,000 for the radios.
