Shoe Giveaway Helps Needy Texomans

The New Jerusalem Baptist Church gave out 200 pairs of shoes at their 4th annual community picnic Saturday.

Organizers said this is a great way to help the community and offer folks a chance to enjoy themselves outdoors before fall turns to winter.

In addition to the shoe giveaway, attendees were treated to plenty of food and games. The Wichita Falls Fire Department even made an appearance, giving kids a chance to play on the trucks.
