Cell Phones Still A Problem In TX Prisons

Despite the recent crackdowns, cell phones keep flooding into Texas state prisons.  Officials say the phones have been implicated in a number of crimes inside the prison and outside, including homicides.

In Texas the number of cell phone seizures suggest only little success in keeping the devices out of the inmates hands.  Officials estimate more than 800 mobile phones have been confiscated inside state prisons this year; that's down 200 from two years ago.
