White House Doubts Need For Nation-Wide Foreclosure Moratorium

Some lawmakers feel there needs to be a nation-wide moratorium on foreclosures, but, the White House believes differently.

This comes amid mounting evidence that inaccurate documents have been used to evict owners.

One Republican lawmaker said a moratorium would go too far by removing the protections lenders need.

But White House advisers say there are still valid foreclosures that should continue.

Last week Bank of America was the first bank to halt foreclosures in every state.
