Stabbing Suspect Arrested in Neighbor's House

A suspect is behind bars, accused of stabbing a man several times and then breaking into a home.

Police say Eli Ramos Junior stabbed 38-year-old Randy Gonzales in the chest, back ribcage and hand around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.  

It happened in the 1200 block of Sun Valley.

Police say the victim drove himself to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Ramos then broke into a home across the street.

Officers say a woman in the home found Ramos barricaded in her father's room.

She grabbed a gun and told him to leave.

Police say he dropped knives but refused to go so she locked herself in a bathroom and called 911.

Officers found Ramos laying on the couch.

He faces aggravated assault and burglary of a habitation charges.
