Texomans turned out Saturday to show their support for the family of PFC Cody Board. The funeral procession for Board headed through Wichita Falls on it's way to Ft. Sill.
A group of people came out to honor Board by holding flags and covering their hearts as the procession passed along I44.
Funeral services for Board were in McKinney, but the burial was at Ft. Sill.
Board's procession has been embroiled in some controversy as Oklahoma officials had said the vehicles could not be exempted from tolls. A turnpike official said he received death threats over the matter.
Two Oklahoma transportation officials have since offered to pay the tolls which totaled $420 for the 300 vehicles.
