German Air Force Gets USA Thanksgiving

Last night one group of overseas students and instructors got to share in a very American tradition.
The German Air Force contingency at Sheppard Air Force Base were treated to a Thanksgiving feast American style. It's a yearly tradition of the Junior League of Wichita Falls. They've been doing it since 1966. The meal is a little premature to the traditional last week of November, but it's certainly a good get together for all involved.

Michelle Kuehner of the Junior League of Wichita Falls said, "It's really nice. It's a get together. It's a family event. It's a time we can kick back and share work experiences and family experiences."

This is one of four events these two groups share with each other every year. Their last event was an "Octoberfest" held a few weeks ago.
