Hearing Postponed In Murder For Hire Case

A Wichita Falls man accused in a murder-for-hire case is trying to get his bond reduced.
David Everett Stevens was arrested in March.

Police say a witness claims Stevens wanted to pay him to kill Stevens' wife's boyfriend.
The witness says Stevens was willing to pay two grand for the murder.
Officers say it was all planned out but the would be shooter contacted police and agreed to wear a wire and meet with Stevens.

His bond reduction hearing was scheduled for 1:30 but has been postponed for the day.
