Mt. Merapi Erupts Again

After thousands of Indonesian residents fled from a volcanic eruption this week, another burst rocked the area.  Mount Merapi spewed more lava this morning, with hot clouds of gas reaching more than 3,000 feet above the mountain.  The evacuations this morning bring the number of people who have fled their homes to more than 40,000.  Officials have extended the danger zone as thick dust is settling on nearby villages.
