Wichita Falls Cross Town Rivalry

With a cross town rivalry this week, the WFISD and the police department have united to curb vandalism and the destruction of property.

The Rider, Old High Football game is scheduled for Friday and both the school district and police have a plan in place to keep students and citizens safe.

There will be daily school announcements, radio announcements and heavier city police patrols around neighborhoods.

City police also plan to ticket anyone involved in car caravans the night of the game.

City police will have a no tolerance policy toward this behavior. Violators will be issued citations, no warnings.
