Tim Barnosky with Lanham Lyne's Camp

Lanham Lyne's campaign headquarters was a bit quiet on election day. I spent some time with Lyne and his campaign manager Christina Hoschler Tuesday afternoon.

No phone calls, no get out the vote efforts, no last minute campaigning. Hoschler said the campaigning was basically over Monday. Now the waiting game begins. Hoschler said she feels voters have made up their minds. Lanham Lyne said he "expects to win."

Lyne said, even as far back as the primary election, he thinks the republicans have a good shot at taking back a seat held by democrats for as long as he can remember. Lyne said he feels Texoma has become more conservative over the past 30 years and voters are ready for a change.

I will be watching the returns with Lanham Lyne from the forum on Speedway Ave. Newschannel 6 will be bringing you live updates throughout the night.
