Man Arrested After Swinging Board At Police

A 31-year-old man is behind bars accused of assaulting an officer.
Police say on October 26th they were called to the 3100 block of Lela Lane in reference to a disturbance.
When backup arrived another officer had his weapon drawn and pointed at Audie Sullivan.
Police say Sullivan had a large 2x4 board in his hands and was swinging it at the officer.
Sullivan refused to drop the board and then picked up a truck's bed camper shell and threw it at the officers.
An officer fired his taser striking Sullivan.
Eventually they were able to place handcuffs on him and put him in the patrol car.
Sullivan is charged with Assault On A Public Servant.
