Ambulance Service Closes In One Oklahoma County

Bad news in Cotton County,Oklahoma.
The volunteer ambulance service in Walters has closed its doors.
The organization's director says it's due to lack of funding.
County Commissioner Chris Lipscomb says they're working to find the best way to proceed in finding a replacement.
Until then, Kirk's Ambulance based in Lawton will handle calls for the northern parts of the county.
Grandfield's ems will cover southern Cotton County.
The Walter's EMS was the only ambulance provider in Cotton County.
