Wildcats Surrender 2-Goal Lead, Fall to Tornado 5-4

The Wichita Falls Wildcats scored four straight goals in a roughly 20-minute span in the first and second periods, but it wasn't enough as the Texas Tornado scored the first two and last three goals of Wednesday night's game for a 5-4 win in front of 1,997 at Kay Yeager Arena.

Sean Keane, Keil Zornow, Drew Allen and Jason McAloon scored for the Wildcats, who had a 4-2 lead with five minutes to play in the 2nd but could not hold it.

Zornow added an assist on Allen's goal for a 2-point night, while Ryan Frost and Mac Olson had two assists each for the Wildcats (13-7-2), while the NAHL-leading Tornado (17-2-3) got a goal and an assist from Nathan Sliwinski.

The Wildcats will be on the road this weekend in Amarillo Friday and Saturday nights, before coming home for one game next Friday night against Corpus Christi.
