Public Servant Passes Away

A Texoma community is mourning the death of a long time public servant. Former Electra City councilman and City Attorney Paul Hayers passed away Thursday morning. He retired as City Attorney this past Summer. He was in his late 60's and was 1 of only 4 to have served as City Attorney in the 103 year history of Electra. Services are set for Saturday at 2pm at First Methodist Church in Electra.
