Rider, Seymour Advance in Playoffs, Notre Dame Falls

Rider High School built a 40-8 halftime lead and cruised to a 47-22 win over El Paso Andress at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. The Raiders will face Birdville in the Regional Round.

Seymour led #9 Clarendon 7-0 at the half and used an even second half to take a 14-7 victory, their second-straight upset over a top-ten team. They will have to do it again next week, when they face #2 Albany.

Notre Dame had its season end in a 53-8 to a Seguin Lifegate team ranked #13 in SixManFootball.com's list of all teams, regardless of Classification.
