Police Chase Lands Two People Behind Bars

Two people are in custody, accused of leading police on a chase while you were sleeping.

The chase started in Iowa Park around 11:30 Monday night.

The pursuit continued on Peterson Road from 287 southbound 369.

Suspects stopped and slid off of Gernimo and Apache Trail.

The car then slid into the front yard of a residence in Wichita Falls.

The chase ended a little after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspects were in a red mustang convertible.

Officers are not sure yet if the car is stolen.

The driver, 19-year-old Johnathan Foix,  is charged with evading arrest.
