DeLay Awaits Sentencing

Legal experts are debating whether a Texas judge will be lenient when sentencing a former House Majority Leader.  Former Congressman Tom DeLay was found guilty on money laundering and conspiracy charges and technically faces up to life in prison.  But some believe that will be shortened, if he even makes it behind bars at all.

DeLay argued throughout the trial he wasn't being judged by his peers, as Austin is the most Democratic city in the most Republican state.  His lawyers think they'll have a better chance to convince a judge to be lenient and overturn the conviction on an appeal.
