Fantasy of Lights: Day 2

Championship day!

It was day two and the final day of the Fantasy of Lights High School Basketball Tournament here in Wichita Falls, Texas. Six Texoma teams advancing to the winner's bracket.

Starting with the Battle for Wichita Falls, the WFHS Lady Coyotes and the Rider Lady Raiders. These teams met each other in the Division I Championship, but it was all Old High. The Lady Coyotes defeated the Lady Raiders 52-34.

Earlier, the Iowa Park Lady Hawks faced off against the Burkburnett Lady Bulldogs in the Division II 3A Championship. Iowa Park stormed out in the first quarter, going on for a 46-33 win.

The ladies had a great day, and it could've been better for the boys.

The Dunkin' Dogs of Burkburnett fell short of their expectations in this year's tournament. They were eliminated in the Division I semi-final round by Lakeview Centennial 87-78.

Also, an early exit for the Hirschi Huskies. They were taken out in the Division II semi-final round. The Falcons of A Maceo Smith beating them by one point 57-56.
