Number Of High School Graduates Rising

A new report on the so-called dropout factory high schools, reveals the number of those receiving diplomas is going up.

A dropout factory is a school in which less than 60 percent of students who started as freshman remain enrolled four years later.

And since 2002, at least 100,000 more students are graduating.

But the American Promise Alliance says for the country to graduate nine out of 10 students by 2020, that number needs to increase fivefold.
