Student Takes A Knife To School

A teenager is behind bars for taking a knife to school.

Officers responded to a call at Wichita Falls High School Wednesday morning regarding a student with an illegal knife.

Officers arrested a 14-year-old male student and took him to the Juvenile Detention Center.

A school administrator describes the weapon as a butcher knife with an eight inch blade.

The knife fits the penal code description of an illegal knife.
