Partner Of Ashley's Home Furniture Has Died

A partner of Ashley Furniture has died from a self-inflicted gun-shot wound.

Tad Lanford owned part of the furniture stores here in Abilene and San Angelo.
Earlier this week Ashley's abruptly closed its doors.         
And on Wednesday a tax warrant was severed.
The home store owes about $20,000 in back taxes.
The reason for the stores closings are still unknown.

Now we spoke with the Better Business Bureau about customer options for furniture they are waiting for their advice was to contact company headquarters.

If you purchased furniture and have not received it yet contact Ashley's Consumer Affairs either by phone or email:

Consumers need to include their name, address, phone number, store where purchased, items purchased and total purchase price.
According to consumer affairs they will get back in touch with the consumer with a plan of action.
