Okla. Sheriffs Investigating A Stabbing In Waurika

A store manager is recovering after being stabbed multiple times.

Deputies say two men walked in the Delbert's Supermarket in Waurika a little before six Thursday night.

Deputies say 20-year-old Kenji Hannsen had a confrontation with the manager in the back of the store and then stabbed the manager multiple times.

They also say he had some words with two customers then left the store.

Brandon Burke, 26, bought some items and then left.

Officers and deputies arrested the two within minutes of the incident.

Hannsen was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Burke was charged with Public Intoxication and Unlawful Carrying of Weapon while Under the Influence.

    Tuesday, Wichita Falls City Council gave Downtown Wichita Falls Development the green light to paint crosswalks downtown. Hand drawn paintings made by local artists will fill the cross sections of 7th and 9th on Scott, Indiana and Ohio.
