Santa Visits the Falls

The Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation Department invited Texomans to come out to Scotland Park Saturday, to let Santa know what they want under their trees this year.

Santa made his appearance at around 1 p.m. Event organizers said this annual tradition is the city's way of making the Falls a more family-friendly place to live.

The festivities included a candy scramble, carnival games, balloons and even a train ride.

The event was free for all to attend. This marked the second year the city has held the celebration.
