A presidential tongue twister drew some laughs at the White House Sunday night.
President Obama had a little trouble trying to say the word superfluous, but came up with a quick excuse.
"To many people, he wrote in his dissent, the superfla, let me start that over. To many people, the superfla, superfluous, it's this lip. It's hard to say. You try it when you've had 12 stitches."
The president needed those stitches after being elbowed during a pickup basketball game.
Sunday night he was discussing an opinion by a legendary Supreme Court Justice as part of the evening for this year's Kennedy Center Honorees.
