The dry and cold weather is causing some fire concerns, and one Texoma county is taking precautions.

A burn ban is in effect in Montague County.

The ban will last for 90 days.

The emergency order restricts any outdoor burning.

A violation of the ban is considered a Class-C misdemeanor and could result in a fine.
