Seymour Officials Still Seeking Funds To Fix Water Plant

The city administrator in Seymour is still searching for funds to fix the R.O. Water Plant.

In July, Newschannel 6 reported on the level of Selenium taken out of the town's well water being ten times higher than the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's authorized limit.

John Studer the city's administrator hopes to visit Austin before the year is out to solicit more help from the T.C.E.Q.

He said the biggest challenge right now is finding a source for funding the improvements.
