Nine Plead Guilty In Smurfing Case

Nine people have pleaded guilty in a smurfing case.

State and federal law enforcement officers began investigating the smurfing of over the counter cold and allergy medication containing pseudoephedrine in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The investigation revealed that Kimberly Logan, Terry Kolb, Robert Seitz, Dusty Gee, Debra Sutton, Elicia Johnson, and Margaret McCoy were getting pseudoephedrine through the medications.

Joseph Enox and Joseph Wayne used the medicine to manufacture the meth in Wichita Falls.
