Drought Watch In Texas Prompts Burn Bans

Experts are on a drought watch in Texas.
The U.S. Drought Monitor shows 85% of Texas is abnormally dry this year compared to just 29% of the state last year.
And many feel dry weather is likely to persist into the spring.

The dry conditions have prompted at least 80 Texas counties to enact burn bans including Montague County just this week.

Coming up on Monday Archer County Commissioners will discuss putting a burn ban in place there.
