Hospice Hosts Candlelight Vigil

One of the holiday traditions in Wichita Falls is the Hospice Tree of Lights. Donations from the Tree of Lights funds the Wings of Hope Support Group.
Wings of Hope provides support for those who are left to live on, after the death of a child. Sunday night a candlelight service was held to remember those lost, and to remind those who have lost, that they are not alone.
Hospice Wings of Hope member Albert Banda told Newschannel 6, "I think our fear is that people will forget our children, and when we meet with people here who have unfortunately had the same experience, we have we're able to share each other's feeling and children."
The event coincides with an international event that tries to create a circle of light around the world lit by compassionate friends.
