Students at one Texoma high school put their hands together to award one deserving student with a truck Monday. The automotive class at Hirschi High School put in more than fifty hours of maintenance on a 1988 Chevy S-10 pick-up, making sure all systems were in working order.
Ebony Vestral, a 17-year-old from Hirschi won the truck. Vestral was first nominated by teachers for outstanding Husky Pride. Her name was then put into a drawing. Hirschi hopes to give more vehicles away in the future.
